Designed to capture the fun and vibrant essence of your child, this shoot involves a lot of mess, laughter, and, of course, cake! The session not only commemorates the significant growth and milestones achieved in your child’s first years but also allows their personality to shine through in a colourful, customisable setting.

Similar to my Newborn Sessions, these sessions will take place in my purpose-built studio near Fair Oak Village, Eastleigh, at the cusp of Winchester and Southampton. It's a cosy environment equipped with all necessities to ensure a comfortable and safe session.

What results should I expect
At the viewing session, expect to be presented with a vibrant gallery of about 25 unique, colourfully captured images. These images will showcase my signature style focused on your child's interaction with the cake and the adorable aftermath.
Before the session
Prior to your Cake Smash Session, we will decide together on the theme, colours, and any specific customisations you’d like. This will help in preparing the set design and ensuring everything is perfect for your little one’s big day.
Including sentimental items
If there's a sentimental item or a specific cake design you'd like to include in the session, feel free to discuss this during our pre-session consultation.
What to wear
It's going to get messy, so dress your child in something you don’t mind getting covered in cake! For family photos, coordinated outfits in simple, neutral colours work best. Avoid patterns and logos to maintain focus on the fun and your family's connection. If you're at a loss for what to choose, don't worry! We provide a few adorable outfit options!
What to bring
Besides your little one and the outfits, bring a towel and a change of clothes for after the bath session. Also, any special toys or distractions that might help your child relax and enjoy the process could be useful.
Session day
Cake Smash Sessions generally last around 1 to 2 hours, allowing for plenty of time to dive into the cake and enjoy the bubbly bath afterward. The studio is set up to facilitate a relaxed, enjoyable environment for your child and you.
Viewing and ordering
Following your Cake Smash Session, we'll set up a viewing appointment. This is the time to relish in the adorable mess your little one created and select the images you love the most. With no pressure sales, you can choose the best photographs to remember the day by.
Pricing
