Pregnancy, with its marvels of transformation, anticipation, and joy, is an extremely cherished time. However, those nine months seem to pass in the blink of an eye before you find yourself cradling your newborn. Documenting this unique period, watching your body evolve to nourish the life growing within, can create a profound collection of memories. As your maternity photographer, I am honoured to capture these pivotal moments in timeless images, which can feature you solely, with your partner, or alongside eager siblings.
MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY NEAR SOUTHAMPTON, WINCHESTER AND EASTLEIGH
Ideally, maternity sessions fall between the 30th and 36th week of pregnancy. At this stage, your baby bump is beautifully round, but you're still comfortable enough for a variety of poses. For mothers expecting multiples or those who may potentially deliver early, we recommend scheduling the photoshoot earlier, around 28 to 30 weeks. As for revealing your bump, the choice is solely up to you— every mother-to-be has a different comfort level. Some prefer to showcase a hint of their silhouette, while others opt for a fuller reveal.
Regardless of your decision, rest assured that your collection of maternity photographs will beautifully represent your personality and eagerness, offering a truly personal chronicle of this phenomenal journey.
How it works
Options range from traditional, posed studio portraits to relaxed, fun-filled studio sessions, extending up to location-specific outdoor sessions!
The standalone maternity session is available for booking and includes digital images from your session. However, if you're interested in capturing even more precious moments, consider opting for our newborn or first-year photography packages. By choosing either of these options, you'll receive a discounted price for your maternity session, allowing you to preserve an array of lifelong memories with your growing family at a more favourable rate.
